Bradley J. Wechsler is currently Chairman of IMAX Corporation and CEO of Elysium Management, LLC which manages the assets of a high net worth family.
Previously, Mr. Wechsler was Co-CEO of IMAX Corporation, had several executive positions in the entertainment industry and was a partner in the entertainment and media practice for a New York-based investment bank.
Mr. Wechsler is a Vice-Chairman of the board of the NYU Hospital and Medical Center and chairs its Finance Committee. In addition, he sits on the boards of Apollo Investment Corporation and is a member of the Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Mr. Wechsler holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. He is married and has three children.
Mr. Wechsler serves as Board Member at Apollo Investment. He is an Angel Investor. He became a Director of the Company in April 2004. Mr. Wechsler was the Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of IMAX Corporation from May 1996 through April 2009 and is currently Chairman.
Since January 2015, Mr. Wechsler is the Managing Partner of Elysium, LLC, a limited liability company that manages the family office for Leon Black, the CEO of Apollo Global Management, LLC ("AGM").
Previously Mr. Wechsler has had several executive positions in the entertainment and finance industries and has made a number of private investments.
Mr. Wechsler is a Vice-Chairman of the board of the NYU Hospital and Medical Center, a member of the Executive Committee and chairs its Finance Committee. He also sits on the board of Math for America and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
